I began working with Engstrom Wood Products in early September 2024. Shortly after joining the company as a recent college graduate, I trained in basic finish work including hanging cabinet doors and installing drawers and drawer fronts. Within a few weeks I transitioned to the production team, where I learned to build cabinet boxes, construct face frames, and other foundational cabinetmaking skills. A few months later I advanced to the role of assistant installer and adopted the team’s installation techniques and best practices. Six months of hands-on training and support culminated in my promotion to lead installer and specialty builder.

My current responsibilities vary day to day. I may operate the CNC, work on an Artisan Tour Home project, or work in the shop producing our custom vanity line.
